Portaferry
Portaferry, on the beautiful Ards Peninsula, is a fishing village best known for its shoreline, Triathlon, annual Gala Week Festival and is also home to Exploris Aquarium.
Not forgetting the somewhat iconic “Portaferry-Strangford Ferry, with daily crossings connecting the two villages of Portaferry and Strangford and opening the Ards Peninsula up to the Mourne Way.

Strangford Lough
The Port sits proudly on the Shore Road in Portaferry overlooking the stunning Strangford Lough and offers a base for you to explore all that this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer.

Portico Of Ards
For you concert goers, we are a short stroll to the historic The Portico of Ards with a busy events calendar of tribute acts, recitals, comedy shows and talks, there is something for everyone.

Golf
Why not pack your clubs and head to Irish Links Golf Course at neighbouring Kirkistown Golf Club. Check out our Stay & Play package.

Walking
If you prefer to put on your walking boots, we are a mere dander away from Nugent’s Wood and a short car journey to National Trust landmarks Castle Ward and Mount Stewart.

Whats on at the Port?
We have live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in our newly renovated Lounge!
Tuesday night is Charity Quiz Night at The Port! Put your general knowledge to the test and support a local charity at the same time – with a raffle on the night it is a great night out with friends. Check out our Instagram to find out who the nominated charity is each week.
Live sports will be shown on our big screens in the lounge too including the 6 Nations and Cheltenham Races.
Food is served daily 12noon to 6.00pm in both the bar and bistro.
